COVID-19 Response Updates

Last updated: December 21, 2020

Aloha,

As the situation around COVID-19 continues to change, we will continue to adapt how we can best serve you. Our business remains open and a number of our activity partners are continuing to accept booking reservations. For your convenience, we have indicated on the new Open Tours & Activities page which tours and activities are still available for you to book and >enjoy.

We have also shared guidance from the CDC and other authorities around the situation in the sections below and will continue to monitor the situation.

Mahalo (thank you),
Aloha V.I.P. Tours Management

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What changes, if any, has Aloha V.I.P. Tours made to business operations in response to COVID-19 that would affect customers?
In regard to bookings, no changes have been made to how we handle your reservation as we were already a paperless company prior to the pandemic. You will continue to receive all confirmations through email.

For Lei Greetings, specifically, we no longer hug our guests during the presentation of their lei. Instead, lei are handed to our guests, and we kindly ask you to greet your traveling partner(s) and vice versa. All of our employees must pass a wellness check prior to starting their workday, wear a face mask at all times, and wash their hands before and after meeting a flight. Lastly, the State of Hawaii is no longer allowing us to meet you at the gate during this COVID-19 pandemic; instead, we will have our staff waiting for you in baggage claim.

  2. How do customers find out information about vendors’ response to COVID-19?
We will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have to make you feel more comfortable about the tour(s) you’re interested in. If you have a question regarding one of our tour vendors, please email us at reservations@alohavip.com or call our main office at 808-955-5900.

  3. Are vendors or Aloha V.I.P. Tours offering refunds, reschedules, or trade-ins of tours and activities affected by COVID-19?
If a vendor cancels a tour because they are unable to run the tour due to COVID-19, you will certainly have the option to reschedule to another day or receive a refund.

  4. Who can I contact if I have more questions?
You can reach us by email or by phone to answer any additional questions you may have. Our office is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time.
